The popular Ford Escape is getting a next-generation makeover for the 2020 model year. A new design and new additions to the model lineup are just two things in store for the all-new Ford Escape. The updated model offers sharper looks along with hybrid and PHEV options. If you’re looking for an environmentally friendly, efficient ride that’s also sporty and capable, look no further than the Ford Escape.
The 2020 Ford Escape will boast a coupe-like appearance, even adopting sporty design cues like the same trapezoidal grille as the Ford Mustang. It is also lower than the outgoing model, with a longer wheelbase and wider design.
If you’re interested in the hybrid powertrains, you’ll find a few different choices. A 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine comes standard on SE Sport and Titanium models that churns out 198 horsepower and a best-in-class electric-only range of up to 550 miles. Plug-in hybrid models are offered on the SE, SEL, and Titanium and boast a best-in-class 30-mile electric-only range.
Four EV driving modes, a larger second row, and a greater cargo capacity are just a few of the features that await you in the all-new Ford Escape.
Watch out for the 2020 Ford Escape coming to Rudig Jensen Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep® Ram later this year.
