Ford Expands Partnership with Amazon Web Services

Ford is adding greater convenience and intelligence to its vehicles by expanding the company’s partnership with Amazon Web Services. Amazon Web Services specializes in on-demand cloud support services for individuals, organizations, and companies. The partnership includes the wholly-owned Ford subsidiary, Autonomic, which handles Ford technological initiatives such as the creation of their Transportation Mobility Cloud Platform. The expanded partnership between the three technological titans will likely lead to greater connectivity options and more reliable on-the-road connection for Ford vehicle owners.

This aligns with the long-term goals of America’s most-beloved automaker to advance in-car connection and device integration. Ford acquired Autonomic, which had been founded just two years earlier as a start-up by Sundeep Madra, in 2018 as part of their tech-first push.

“This collaboration will significantly expand our opportunity to deliver the very best experiences to Ford vehicle and mobility customers,” said Marcy Klevorn, president of Ford Mobility. We sure like the sound of that here at Rudig Ford CDJR. We are already proud to sell Ford models to our customers with the knowledge that these are state-of-the-art, reliable vehicles — and anything that will enhance the overall quality of our products is something we, of course, support and look forward to.
