Back seat space is one feature that most parents look for when car shopping. That’s why the new Ford Focus design includes added space for rear passengers, offering a class-leading space. Great for long trips or short drives around town, the Ford Focus will keep you and your family more comfortable than ever before.
The Focus is getting an extra 1.97 inches of rear knee room and an added 2.4 inches of rear shoulder room compared to the previous model year. The extra room in the back seat complements the next-generation exterior design, and you’ll find a range of infotainment features to keep the passengers occupied as you drive. More space and features will definitely prevent some rear seat squabbling.
“We didn’t settle for just making the rear of our all-new Focus more spacious — we also wanted it to feel more open and roomy for passengers big and small,” said Glen Goold, Ford Focus chief program engineer. “The side windows now stretch further rearwards so that passengers have an unrestricted view out, and the available panorama roof floods the interior with light for an airy feel.”
