When most people think of truck brands, they don’t usually think of Jeep®. However, that’s about to change. The Jeep® Gladiator Rubicon design recently took first place at the Topless in Miami, Presented by Haartz competition. This is the ninth year the Southern Automotive Media Association has awarded trucks at the competition, and this year the Gladiator Rubicon was a true underdog.
According to The News Wheel, the 2020 Rubicon has a 3.6-liter V6 under the hood, with a six-speed manual transmission, which delivers an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Features include Rubicon decals, a brightly accented interior, a steel rear bumper, and a dual vented hood.
“Our members especially enjoyed driving the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator, which combines pickup truck and Jeep attributes along with the unique experience of open-air driving,” said SAMA president Paul Borden. “The Jeep Gladiator offers great functionality, versatility and capability, making it the ultimate vehicle for any outdoor, open-air adventure.”
The Gladiator comes with a distinct pickup design that drivers are sure to fall in love with. You’ll find Uconnect 3 with a 5.0-inch touchscreen display, Voice Command, and more when you test drive this model. Plus, the Gladiator comes in Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon trims, so you can find the vehicle that’s right for you.
